Fry (1) with sugar, salt and light soy sauce to taste.

- glutinous rice
Soak glutinous rice overnight (5 - 6 hours). Drain excess water. Fry rice, add oil, sugar, salt, dark soy sauce and a little bit of pepper to taste. Add (1), stir. Add water, cover pot and let simmer. Check regularly, add water if dry. Knead, base will get hard quickly if dry. Steam until soft and sticky.
