Memory Ape

Ayumu, a 7-year old chimp at the primate research institute in Kyoto University, Japan beats college students at memory game. The study involves the young ape playing with touch screens and learning arabic numerals. Ayumu is the really cute looking chimp in the beginning of the video. If you notice also in the beginning of the video, the mother chimp recognises colors and chooses the correct kanji representing the color on the computer screen.
